The origin and designer of this version of the androgyne flag is unknown, but it almost certainly predates the currently most-used androgyne flag, featuring on early internet infographics about Pride flags.
It consists of two equal bars on a grey background, forming an equal sign (representing the ‘equal’ experience of masculinity and femininity).
Another variant design of this flag has the pink and blue stripes going the full way across the flag.
