About

The Achillean Flag is believed to have been created in 2016 or 2017, based on the counterpart feminine Sapphic flag. Earlier versions of the flag tended to feature the carnation in more detail, before it was simplified at some point afterwards.

It features a green carnation on it, a symbol of Achillean (male-on-male) relationships, itself a Queer symbol that dates back to Victorian times, as popularised by author Oscar Wilde.
